The Train Perspective

The problem with internet debates is that we all bring a caravan of personal experiences in tow yet only ever make visible one point. It’s like trying to judge the length of a train head-on. All it takes is a small shift in perspective to see that the train is either just an engine or 30 cars long. Of course both possibilities are equally dangerous but at lest recognizing the difference may shed some light on an otherwise confounding and seemingly egregious departure from common sense.
