She was caring very little about people she got sick
Mikey is a Jesus nut, Donny forever bitter
They were all so busy denying, they were doing it on twitter
Donny played the crisis like a kid starving for fame
And then he lost touch with reality looking for someone to blame

They were all in love with lying
They were drinking the BS
That was flowing from his sewer mouth
In gratuitous excess

I don’t mind the feed sometimes, the ignorance it shows
I can scroll right on by as misinformation flows
Silliness and stupidity and carefully crafted lies
Never underestimate the power of the unwise

Some will die in hospitals gasping on ventilators
Some will die in hospitals for listening to traitors
Some will double down on hate and drown in the BS
That is flowing from his sewer mouth, in gratuitous excess

I don’t mind the feed sometimes, the sadness that it shows
I can scroll right on by as the death toll steadily grows
Criminal complacency and shunning of the wise
The bigger pile of bull shit attracts even bigger flies

Another black man lost his life so needlessly and senseless
No knock cops blew a black girl away while sleeping and defenseless
Protestors took to the streets to decry our systems flaws
They were tired of black folk dying, they were screaming for new laws
Donny told his goon squad “Fire rubber bullets ’til they stop”
While he held a smoking bible for his tone def photo op

They were all tired of the lying
They were sick of the injustice
That was flowing with incontinence
From the mouth of POTUS

I defied the feed this time, the hatred that it sows
I denounce inequity through poetry and prose
Scared white boys clinging to their fragile supremacy
Can choke on the hypocrisy of their sorry legacy
