A lucid dream begins with a prompt. A direction is given and an entire world emerges in response. That observation led me to an unsettling question: if dreams, memories, emotions, and experience are all forms of information, what truly separates the analog dream engine of the human mind from the cyber mind of artificial intelligence? The answer may be less obvious than we would like to believe.
